Urgent Same Day Courier

It all depends on where we are delivering and what we are delivering. All our pricing is based on the distance from the collection address to the delivery address in miles, and the vehicle size required. The only additional fee would be to cover tolls and congestion zones.

The only extra fee that could be incurred would be around additional waiting/loading time at either end. At All About Freight we allow 30 minutes grace from the agreed collection time, and the same applies at the other end when delivering.

We know your enquiry is time sensitive so we make getting a quote fast and effective. You can either call the main All About Freight number where our team will be happy to assist, or fill in our online enquiry form (with a guaranteed call back within 5 minutes).

There are minimum charges dependent on the size of the vehicle required. A small van has a minimum charge of £75.00 + VAT; a Transit would be £95.00 + VAT.

A dedicated delivery means your goods are the only consignment on the vehicle. Once collected, they travel directly to their destination without passing through depots, sorting hubs or being transferred between vehicles.

Unlike parcel and pallet networks, a dedicated courier eliminates unnecessary handling and delays. Your consignment stays with the same driver throughout the journey, reducing the risk of damage, loss or missed delivery deadlines.

Dedicated transport provides the fastest and most reliable delivery option available. It offers direct transit, real-time communication, enhanced security for valuable goods and complete peace of mind that your shipment is receiving the driver's full attention from collection to delivery.

Once the delivery details have been confirmed and payment received (payment link for debit/credit card provided), we aim to collect within 60 minutes.

With our same day delivery courier service we aim to collect from you within 60 minutes from payment confirmation. This is always subject to traffic conditions.

All deliveries are dedicated – All About Freight will only be delivering your items. We will always deliver directly unless otherwise advised. Timings of the delivery will always be condition and distance related.

All of our same day deliveries are treated as urgent and will be delivered directly as quickly as possible, or at a time requested by yourselves at time of booking.

We operate every day throughout the year and one of our members of staff will be available to answer the phone when you require. Any email enquiries will be answered within 5 minutes during the working day; anything out of these hours really requires a call.

This is fully dependent on the distance of the delivery. We will always deliver direct and will arrange the collection within 60 minutes from confirmation of payment.

Our office hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. We are available 24/7 for urgent enquiries and bookings, and customer support for existing bookings.

Our dedicated same day deliveries aren't restricted by distance. We can organise dedicated deliveries anywhere across the UK and Europe, and can arrange all customs paperwork when delivering outside of the United Kingdom.

We can collect from any city across the UK and deliver direct. Depending on the distance and time of day, the delivery would be delivered direct that very same day.

All of our deliveries are dedicated and solely for you. We will always deliver direct and the timing of the deliveries is constrained only by distance. If we can deliver same day, we will.

The list is endless – it is easier to say what we can't transport. The following are strictly prohibited (the list is comprehensive but not confined): Firearms, Narcotics, Livestock, Passengers.

We have access to all sized vehicles from a small van through to an articulated lorry, which enables us to transport any sized requirement. We will always use the correct sized vehicle for the job.

All of our deliveries are fully insured and great care is taken for fragile and sensitive deliveries. Where required, blankets and strapping are used for extra protection. For any items more than £20,000 in value we can obtain extra insurance to cover the transportation.

We have access to temperature-controlled vehicles. These vehicles require extra notice for booking.

Simple answer – yes. We have access to any sized vehicle to cover any eventuality, from flatbeds to curtain-sided lorries. Vehicles with cranes (Hiab) or forklifts (Moffatt) are available to assist if required.

As same day couriers we insure all goods up to £20,000 whilst in transit. If the goods are more valuable we can obtain additional insurance to cover the delivery.

All of our deliveries are dedicated for you – the goods are handled once when loaded and once when delivered, so they cannot get lost. If anything is damaged, the goods in transit insurance will cover this. Our same day couriers take great care to ensure there are no damages; where appropriate we will use extra blankets and straps for additional protection.

All same day deliveries are signed for and proof of delivery is sent to you via email once completed by our couriers. If signed paperwork is required to be returned we can organise this. If nobody is available to take a delivery we will get confirmation from yourself of where we can leave the items, or whether we need to return them. We will never leave items without prior agreement from yourself.

All of our same day couriers are vetted for insurance and roadworthiness. If further vetting is required (e.g. DBS checks), we will ensure this is carried out if required.

We do not offer live tracking, but we will update ETAs or flag delays throughout the journey either by phone or email.

Our same day couriers will update you throughout the journey, from order confirmation through to Goods On Board and Delivery confirmation, via email.

We don't pass on driver details unless deemed necessary. We can answer any questions or update you throughout the journey. We operate this way to allow the driver to concentrate on the road and not have to answer numerous calls whilst driving.

Booking with All About Freight is very simple – email or call with your enquiry. We will discuss the requirements with you, advise the correct vehicle, and provide a quote. We will then send a payment link via email; once paid we will organise a driver/vehicle to collect at the agreed time and date.

No account is required to book our same day courier service. We would of course love to work with you again, and when you use us a second time we can open an account subject to routine checks if required – or simply carry on without one.

You can book online or by phone. We always prefer an email confirmation to enable us to double-check all information and ensure the delivery goes as smoothly as possible.

Once payment has been received you will get an email update with an estimated time to collection. We are already booking your driver and getting them on their way to collect.

We accept all major credit cards or payment via bank transfer. Unfortunately we are unable to take cash.

Once you have used our same day services a couple of times we are able to offer a credit account, subject to routine checks.

To enable us to proceed with any first-time booking or where no account is in place, we require payment upfront either via payment link or bank transfer.

70% of our business mix is B2B customers who use us on a regular basis. Whether it be urgent same day deliveries or holiday cover, we can assist when required.

We welcome regular or contract deliveries. If you have this requirement please get in contact.

If you need to cancel or change the same day delivery please call us as soon as possible. We can work with you to rearrange or cancel completely. Depending on the situation there may be additional charges or cancellation fees.

If no one is available at the delivery address we will contact you and agree next steps. We will never leave a delivery without a signature or prior agreement from yourself.

Unfortunately we are unable to control traffic or delays whilst delivering. What we will guarantee is that if your delivery does encounter delays, we will keep you informed as soon as we are aware and update you throughout the journey.
